A selection of hymns and songs, based on themes from the Revised common
lectionary for
the Feast of the Reign of Christ, (Christ the King), Year C.
Most are free-to-use (ie public domain or copyright-free) meaning the words can be copied and sung to at least one tune with no concerns about copyright or performance licensing. Many such hymns are old/traditional - but where possible a variety of styles / genres are included.
A small selection of hymns that are still copyright be included if they are particularly appropriate.

Gospel: Luke 23: 33-43 - Jesus is hanging on the cross, and the people and soldiers moc him "If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself". One of the criminals hanged defended him and asked "Jesus remember me, when you come into your kingdom".
