Most are free-to-use (ie public domain or copyright-free) meaning the words can be copied and sung to at least one tune with no concerns about copyright or performance licensing - sometimes in a limited setting. Many of these hymns are old / traditional - but where possible a variety of styles and genres are included. A small number of hymns that may still be copyright are also included, if they are particularly appropirate.
Readings
First:Exodus 12:1-14 - The Lord tells Moses and Aaron how to celebrate the Passover - because the Lord will pass through the land of Egypt and strike down every firstborn in the land, except where he sees the blood as a sign. And future generations will celebrate this way as a festival to the LORD;
OR Ezekiel 33: 7-11 - The prophet explains that God will hold him responsible for failing to pass on information from God.
Psalm 94 - O that today you would listen to his voice, harden not your heart / Come ring out our joy to the Lord / Come in and let us bow and bend low.
Second: Romans 13 8-14 - All the commandments are summed up in a single command: You must love your neighbour as yourself - love is the answer to every one of the commandments.
Gospel: Matthew 18: 15-20 - Jesus outlines a process for resolving conflicts in the community - approaching the offender first and then the elders - "Where two or three meet in my name, I am there."
