A selection of hymns and songs, based on themes from the Revised Common lectionary for the Sunday of Proper twenty-five (Ordinary thirty) in Year B.
Most are free-to-use (ie public domain or copyright-free) meaning the words can be copied and sung to at least one tune with no concerns about copyright or performance licensing. Many such hymns are old/traditional - but where possible a variety of styles / genres are included. A small selection of hymns that are still be copyright may also included, if they are particularly matched with the readings.

Readings
First:Job 42:1-6, 10-17 - Job declared his repentance to the Lord, who now sees as well as hears. Once Job has prayed for his friends, the Lord restores his life and fortunes. Eventually Job died, old and full of days.
OR
Jeremiah 31:7-9 - The Lord says "Shout with joy - I have saved my people - I am a father to Israel"
Second: Hebrews 7:23-28 - Christ holds his priesthood forever: He is holy, blameless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens, and has no need to offer sacrifices day after day because he did once for all when he offered himself: the law has appointed a Son who has been made perfect forever.
Gospel 10:46-52 Mark - The healing of blind Bartimaeus - thanks to his faith, courage and persistence.
